Q. How much capital should I have in order to start a new Dragonfly centre?
To start up a new center, you need to have a fund ready for renovation, an initial working capital, marketing, purchase of furniture, play equipment, educational aids, inventory and of course, license fees.
Q. What is the ideal building size to run a Dragonfly centre?
It is preferable to be double storey corner terrace, double storey semi-D, or double storey bungalow with spacious compound for daily activities.
Q. How should I select a suitable and perfect site to ensure my business stability?
The site must be easily accessible by transport and are highly populated residential area.
Q. Can I conduct other programs at my center to generate extra income?
Yes, you are encouraged to have certain enrichment classes such as Art Class, Dancing Class, Mental Arithmetic, Drama class or any other classes you feel they are beneficial for children. You will have to propose to the Licensor and may only start those classes upon approval from the Licensor.
Q. What qualifies me to be a Dragonfly Franchisee?
You must be a person with great integrity and enthusiastic in term of willingness to compromise for your works and children. Self-involvement in the school operation is a must. You should at least possess the certificate of SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia) and able to speak fluent English.
Q. Will you assist us in governmental department procedure?
We will assist you on how to start and the normal procedure of applying licenses. We will provide you with proposal to submit to JPN (Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri) or JKM ( Jabatan Kebajikan Malaysia ).
